Cause: built 1962 by a g weser, bremen. owned at time of loss by schlussel reederei, ohg. passage from novorossisk for brake, west germany. ran into easterly gale-force winds & heavy seas in the bay of biscay. after listing heavily she drifted & eventually sank some 16m off the lizard. abandoned, all crew safe. (msd).
