MARKED SCOUR RUNNING TO N FROM WK. (HMS FAWN, HI 3). INDICATION ON DCS3 TRACE THAT MAST STILL STANDS. BR STD. 27.2.23 WRECK SURVEYED 11/5/2019: MBES DATA SHOWS COASTER OF APPROX LENGTH 70MTRS, BOW/STERN LIE ON PORT SIDE, CENTRAL PORTION UPRIGHT. TWO BOILERS AND PROBABLE ENGINE PRESENT IN THE DTM. POSITIONALLY, DIMENSIONALLY AND ARCHIVALLY THIS WRECK IS CONSISTENT WITH VESSEL "KNUT". THE PRESENCE OF A STERN SECTION ELIMINATES WK BEING PERSEUS. (INNES MCCARTNEY BOOK "ECHOES FROM THE DEEP").
