Cause: built in 1902. niclausse boilers, triple expansion engines of 17,000 ihp for 21 knots. 8 x 6.4 inch, 4 x 4 inch & 10 x 3 pounder guns. 2 torpedo tubes. struck a mine and quickly sank. nearly all 520 crew were saved by the escorting torpedo boats. (dods).
