(sibi). was towed for 20 minutes before sinking. (ww2sl & lloyds war losses).

HULL TOTALLY BURIED TO DECK LEVEL BUT MAIN BULK OF ENGINE STANDS 20FT CLEAR OF SEABED. NOT AS YET IDENTIFIED BUT THOUGHT POSSIBLY TO BE THE JOLLY GIRLS. (K MILES, 3.4.91). INS AS WK 20MTRS. BR STD. HH100/351/07 5.11.93 WK LOCATED IN 550024.5N, 012232W [?OGB] USING GPS, SONAR AND MAGNETOMETER. STANDS ABOUT 3MTRS HIGH. LENGTH 70 - 80FT. GOOD SONAR TARGET. GEN DEPTH 20MTRS. (G BRULE, OCT '93). NCA. HH090/796/01 5.1.99 EXAM'D 25.7.98 IN 550026.0N, 012231.6W [WGD] USING DGPS. SWEPT CLEAR 18.8, FOUL 19.1MTRS. LEAST E/S DEPTH 18.9 IN GEN DEPTH 21.3MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 2.1MTRS. LENGTH 35MTRS, WIDTH 10MTRS. LIES 120/300 DEGS. PARTLY BURIED WK. BOW AND STERN VISIBLE SHOWING SOME ELEVATION ABOVE SEABED. MAJORITY OF MIDSHIPS LOOKS TO BE BURIED. (GARDLINE, HI 796). BR STD.
