Cause: built in 1958 by schiffswerft heinrich brand gmbh & co, k g, oldenburg. owned at time of loss by jocor, sa. passage rotterdam for barry. ran aground on rocks about 200yds s of hartland pt. all seven crew rescued. (msd).

Details measurements/cartography: H2613/78 18.1.83 DISINTEGRATING RAPIDLY. ALREADY IN THREE PIECES. EACH HIGH TIDE CARRIES AWAY MORE PIECES. EXPECTED TO BE TOTALLY FINISHED AT SPRING TIDES, SEASONAL WEATHER END JANUARY. (TELECON CG/WATSON). NCA. 10.3.83 PHOTOGRAPHS, TAKEN FEB 1983, SHOW THAT BOW & STERN SECTIONS HAVE BROKEN AWAY & HEEL TO STBD. SIDES OF MAIN HULL HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY FLATTENED. (T THATCHER, NM HISTORIES). NCA. 18.2.98 WHEN VIEWED FROM CLIFFS ABOVE, VESSEL COMPRISES TWO RUSTY CHUNKS. BOTH LIE ON THEIR STBD SIDES, WELL SEPARATED, WITH WRECKAGE BETWEEN. CONSIDERED NOT TO BE PROMINENT TO SEAWARD DUE TO RUSTY COLOURED CLIFFS BEHIND. (T JENKS, TELECON DTD 18.2.98). NCA. 27.11.03 STILL TWO RUSTY CHUNKS. (N SAUNDERS, DTD 17.8.03). NCA. HH091/158/01 30.6.09 NOT LOCATED. INSHORE OF M/B COVER. (FUGRO OSAE, HI 1158). NCA.
