Cause: built in 1889 by j thompson & sons, liverpool. owned at time of loss by j millas, ibrail, roumania. two blilers, triple expansion engine of 212nhp, single shaft. passage braila for rotterdam. went ashore near sudmoor in thich weather. fwd part holed. some 600 tons of cargo jettisioned. at hw the vessel floated but was held by a rock penetrating the hull. she then went beam on and sank. declared ctl. (d c wendes & sibi).
