IDENTIFICATION ON LIFEJACKET WAS 'J GOUGY' D 1715A [NUMBER WAS IN FACT DI 1714]. TRAWLER FEARED LOST WITH CREW OF 14. SEA DROGUE HAS ALSO BEEN WASHED UP, ASSUMED FROM 'JEAN GOUGY'. (LLOYDS REPORT 24, 25 & 26.2.70). NCA YET. TELEGRAM FROM HM COASTGUARD AT ST JUST REPORTED WK OF TRAWLER DISCOVERED NEAR GILLSTONE, SCILLY ISLES, IN 495148N, 062408W. BELIEVED THIS TO BE THE WK OF THE 'JEAN GOUGY'. WK IS LYING ON HER PORT SIDE, HEADING E BY S IN APPROX 2FMS AT LOW WATER. LYONESSE SALVAGE CO. PROCEEDING TO INVESTIGATE WK.
