Cause: built in 1907 by craig tayor & co. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 210 hp, single shaft. stranded on the 'in bus' of whirl rocks in thick fog. passage antwerp for grangmouth. general cargo of mainly pig iron and steel ingots. vessel broke her back, then into two halves and spilled the cargo. stern half slipped over the s edge and down into deep water.
