Length 91.4 meter, width: 13.4 meter, draught: 5.8, tonnage 2426 ton
Load: machinery and mechanical parts,railway: stock and construction materials

Cause: sunk by german submarine 4m se of the lizard whilst en route from swansea to france. (ll ww1). vessel, built 1915 by dunlop bremner and owned at the time of loss by swansea steamers, was torpedoed & sunk by a german submarine 4m se of the lizard. 6 lives lost. (dods).

(R DAVIS & R LARN, 30.10.69). 2.9.70 NDW IN 495712N, 050939W USING HSA. LIES N/S. BOUGHT BY R DAVIS. (R DAVIS, 26.8.70). R/S. 2.7.74 NOW CHARTED AS USC 30MTRS. NE 154. 25.9.74 LOCATED DURING SALVAGE SURVEYS 1974. (E GILES). NCA. 15.1.82 BOW REPORTED SEPARATE FROM MAIN WK AND BROKEN UP. MIDSHIPS REASONABLY INTACT, BUT AFT OF SUPERSTRUCTURE FLATTENED. (BSAC WK REGISTER, VOL 4). NCA. H5249/76 11.2.82 HAS BEEN OWNED BY S OATES OF PLYMOUTH SINCE 1978 AND SALVAGE OPS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT. (W E BUTLAND, 24.1.82). NCA. 17.4.01 LIES LISTING TO ONE SIDE. HULL INTACT, SUPERSTRUCTURE FLAT OTHER THAN THE BRIDGE. SEABED SAND. GEN DEPTH 52MTRS AT HW NEAPS. (J ROSEVEARE, TELCON 17.4.01). NCA. 19.7.07 NOT LOCATED. (D BRYDON, LTR DTD 17.7.07). NCA. STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY. INTACT AND UPRIGHT, BOW & AFTER SECTION COLLAPSED. (MMT, HI 1455). DEBRIS CLOSE ALONG NW SIDE, HULL APPARENTLY COLLAPSING. AMEND WK 37MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
