Cause: ex-kingsholme. built in 1914 by i j abdela & mitchell ltd, queensferry for butler & co, bristol for the bristol channel service only. acquired by elder, dempster & co ltd in 1915 and renamed ilesha. two 4 cylinder, 2 stroke oil engines, twin shaft. machinery aft by j & c g bolinders co ltd. passage liverpool for west africa. stranded on bardsey island. refloated, but then sank. (elder dempster fleet history & sibi).
