Cause: built in 1860 by scott & co. ltd., greenock, went aground in bread and cheese cove, st martins, after missing stays whilst en route from bluff, new zealand to isles of scilly. later refloated but sank under tow apparently 21m sw bishop rock. (cornish shipwrecks vol 3).
