Cause: built in 1928 by sir john priestman & co. owned at time of loss by cliffside shipping co. triple expansion engine of 375nhp for 10 knots. torpedoed and sunk. 28 men lost. (dods). missed by 1 torpedo from u-99 & sunk by gunfire by u-47. (axis submarine successes).
