Cause: built in 1917 by vickers, barrow-in-furness. twin shaft, 4000hp. 1 x 12 inch, 1 x 3 inch qf guns, 4 x 18 inch torpedo tubes. sank, allegedly following a collision with swedish ss 'vidar' while dived. crew of 69 all lost.
