Cause: built 1916 by palmers' sb & iron co ltd, jarrow. two oil eingines for 1600bhp, twin shaft. was sold out of service to the south wales salvage company of llanelly. lost while on tow, by tug joffre, to disposal yard. (sibi).

THE BASE OF THE WK IS BETWEEN 3-4FT INTO THE SANDY BOTTOM IN ABOUT 30FT OF WATER AT LOW WATER. WK FOUND 9.7.77. (D.O. MELLOR, LETTER DTD 8.8.77).
