Cause: built in 1907 of wood by henry reynolds, oulton broad, lowestoft. originally owned by john may, buckpool. hired as an auxillary from may 1915. one boiler, compound expansion engine of 75 ihp, single shaft. sank while on anti-submarine duties following collsion with s trawler hms ouse. (d c wendes).

BR STD. 21.4.86 FOUND TO BE REMAINS OF WOODEN VESSEL. BOILER REMAINS IN SITU, STANDING 10FT HIGH. COMMERCIAL GUARD REQUESTED. (D SAYWELL, TELECON). 2.2.99 CINC DELETED. MORE THAN FIVE YEARS. 2.2.99 IN VIEW OF PREVIOUS REPORT OF BOILER, AMENDED TO USC 34MTRS. BR STD. 30.1.07 HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED BY BUILDER'S NAMEPLATE. (D C WENDES, SOUTH COAST SHIPWRECKS). NCA. 24.10.12 EXAM'D 28.1.12 IN 5031.225N, 0152.699W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 34.48 IN GEN DEPTH 37MTRS. LEAST W/C DEPTH 33.51MTRS. SCOUR 0.3MTR AT WK. LENGTH 3MTRS, WIDTH 2.5MTRS, HT 1.4MTRS. POOR MAGNETIC ANOMALY. A SMALL STEEP-SIDED MOUND WHICH HAS MINOR SCOUR TO N AND S. (EMU, HI 1366). AMEND WK 33MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
