Length 95.1 meter, width: 6.1 meter, draught: 3.4, tonnage 1100 ton

Cause: built in 1917 by hawthorn leslie & co. three boilers, steam turbines, twin shaft. four 4 inch, two 2 pdr guns. six 21 inch torpedo tubes. torpedoed and sunk by u 413. 67 men lost.

(E J WATTS, AUG 1981). NCA. HH100/351/07 6.7.93 WK OF HMS WARWICK DIVED 9.5.93 IN 502950.5N, 052513W [OGB] USING DECCA. LEAST DEPTH OBTAINED 55 IN GEN DEPTH 60MTRS. LIES BROKEN IN TWO SECTIONS ON FLAT ROCK AND SAND AND FAIRLY WELL BROKEN UP. ONLY ENGINES AND BOW SECTION STAND MORE THAN 4MTRS ABOVE SEABED. STERN SECTION, NOT DIVED, LIES APPROX 50MTRS TO THE SOUTH. 2 4" GUNS AND MANY SHELL CASES FOUND AMONGST THE WRECKAGE. (G PEACHAM, 30.6.93). CHART AS USC PA 50MTRS. BR STD. HH100/351/08 15.11.93 DIVED 1993 IN 502955N, 052539.5W [OGB] USING DECCA. STANDS 5MTRS HIGH IN GEN DEPTH 58MTRS. NO SCOUR. BROKEN AFT OF ENGINES. STERN LIES 2M W IN 502924N, 052954W. BOILERS HAVE COLLAPSED. (G J POUND, 27.10.93). NFA. HH090/799/01 30.7.01 EXAM'D 30.7.01 IN 5029.953N, 0525.337W [WGD] USING DGPS. LEAST E/S DEPTH 52.3 IN GEN DEPTH 55MTRS. NO SCOUR. COVERS AN AREA OF 39 BY 17MTRS, ORIENTATED 035/215 DEGS. STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY. VERY BROKEN UP AND IMPOSSIBLE TO GIVE A TRUE ORIENTATION. (NP 1008, HI 799). BR STD. 9.4.17 STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS, DEFENCE NO 147/2017. COMING INTO FORCE 3.3.17. AMEND "HISTORIC".
