Cause: built in 1934 by cochrane & sons shipbuilders ltd. purchased in 1939 as an anti-submarine trawler. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 99 nhp, single shaft. torpedoed right fwd by e-boats of the 5th flotilla while escorting convoy wp 300. sank in 2 or 3 minutes. also lost were hms harstad, mv moldavia and lct 381. (n chipchase).
