Shipwreck details

Length 76.2 meter, width: 9.1 meter, draught: 4, tonnage 1070 ton

Cause: built in 1894 at pembroke dock, pembroke. four boilers, twin triple expansion engines for 3500ihp, twin shaft. from 1894 to 1901 employed as torpedo gunboat. appointed as depot ship for early holland class submarines. at the outbreak of ww1 converted back to anti-submarine warfare role. returing from patrol was involved in collision with casualty clearing hospital ship western australia (2937 tons) and was cut in two. four men lost. (sibi).
