Cause: built of wood in 1901. managed by william slater, buckpool, banff. hired from october 1916 as a net defence drifted based with the southern auxillary patrol force in poole. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 18 nhp, single shaft. passage north shields for poole. ran aground on the hook sands in a se gale. (d c wendes).
