Cause: built in 1902 by cook, welton and gemmel. owned at time of loss by the admiralty. one 6pdr gun. one boiler, triple expansion engine, single shaft. hired as minesweeper 1915-19 and as danlayer 1939. struck a mine and subsequently sank.
