Cause: Built in 1918 by mcmillan of dumbarton for the royal navy as rosslaire. an aberdare class minesweeper. ex rosslare, renamed in 1918. two boilers, two triple expansion engines, twin shaft. mined and badly damaged aft. taken in tow by hms sherbourne but continued to take water and sank stern first.
