Cause: ex-osbourne stroud. built in 1912 by a hall & co ltd, aberdeen. aquired by the admiralty from 7.194 and sold back to owners, j r mcbeath, in 1920 changing name to beathwood. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 66nhp, single shaft. taken admiralty service from 12.1939 as an armed patrol trawler. bombed and sunk by german aircraft. (ww2sl, colledge & sibi).
