Length 98.5 meter, width: 10.1 meter, draught: 3.7, tonnage 1350 ton

Cause: built in 1930 by thornycroft & co. three boilers, turbine engines for 34,000hp, twin shaft. passage from portsmouth for trials and return. 4 x 4.7 inch, 2 x 2pdr guns. 8 tt. mined and broke in two. bow section sank at once. 151 crew and dockyard trials team lost. mined and sank off the isle of wight. 151 lives lost.

POSN 503200N, 012600W PD FOR FILING ONLY. 19.12.91 WK IS ALMOST UNDETECTABLE BY E/S AS IT IS VIRTUALLY BURIED WITHIN A SANDWAVE. IT LIES IN TWO PARTS WITH THE BOW SOME WAY FROM THE MAIN WRECKAGE.
