Cause: built 1912 by antwerp engineering co, hoboken. owned at time of loss by svenska lloyd. passage liverpool for varberg. struck sgeir more reef & sank in sound of mull, off coast of morren. the master, who refused to leave his ship, was lost, 21 crew safe. steel cargo was salvaged during 1950's. (dods, argyll shipwrecks, shipwrecks of the west of scotland, sibi & dive scotland's greatest wrecks). cargo consisted of sheet metal, asbestos, rubber & fishing line. (diver magazine april '99).
