Cause: 21.1.41 built in 1919 by neptunwerft. owned at time of loss by vereenigde nederlandsche scheepvaart maats. quarduple expansion engine. passage rangoon for liverpool. bombed & set on fire by german aircraft on 21.1.41. finally sunk by torpedo from u-105 on 26.1.41. 8 men lost. (dods & axis submarine successes).
