Cause: built in 1903 by wood, skinner & co, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by the british and african steam nav co. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 151hp, single shaft. passage boulogne for the tyne. in ballast. torpedoed and sunk by ub-34.
