Cause: built in 1905 by fredrikstad mek, verksted. owned at time of loss by d/s af 1937 a/s. 3 cylinder triple expansion engine of 104 nhp, 1 boiler, single shaft. passage copenhagen for blyth. struck a german laid mine and sank. all 15 crew lost. DANGER TO INSHORE FISHERMEN AND YACHTS. CLUMPS OF SEAWEED ATTACHED TO WK FLOATS ON SURFACE AT LOW TIDE. (MR STONE, WHITLEY BAY, OWNER OF 'PRIMADONNA', C & E BLYTH, LTR DTD 20.8.74 AND TH LTR DTD 23.8.74). INS AS WK 0.6MTRS. BR STD. HH090/796/01 8.1.99 MAGNETOMETER DEFLECTION INVESTIGATED WITH DCS3.
