Cause: 19.3.40 four boilers, triple expansion engine, single shaft. passage curacao for invergordon. torpedoed by u-57. beached & blazed for several days. broke in two on 19.3.40 and declared a ctl. 11 men lost. (hm dunbeath & sibi).
