BRIDGE AND MACHINERY AMIDSHIPS (ENGINE SUGGESTS STEAM RECIPROCATING). ABAFT BRIDGE IS PART OF ANOTHER HOLD BEFORE THE SHIP WAS BADLY BROKEN. FORWARD HOLDS HAVE HARD FLAT SAND COVERED SURFACES ABOUT 2-3FT BELOW COMINGS. PLATING THROUGHOUT IS WELL ROTTED. BEING CLOSE TO DARTMOUTH AND COMPARATIVELY SHALLOW THIS WK IS WELL DIVED ON BY SUB-AQUA PEOPLE SOME OF WHOM THINK IT IS 'NEWHOLM'. SURVEYED USING SONAR, E/S AND DIVERS.
