Cause: ex-scour, ex-vasco de gama. built of iron in 1862 in liverpool. owned at time of loss by liverpool steam tug co. one boiler, two cylinder simple expansion engine of 80nhp, paddle propulsion. sank about 500yds from queens dock entrance whilst towing the tug 'slasher'. (sibi).
