Cause: built in 1926 by r duncan & co. owned at time of loss by graig shipping co. triple expansion engine of 392nhp. passage montreal for barry roads. was badly damaged by torpedo attack from u-103 on 9 oct. vessel was abandoned & finally sunk the following day by u-123. (dods, axis submarine successes, sea breezes sep'82, ll ww2).
