Details measurements/cartography: H3542/68 27.9.68 H3542/68 27.9.68 THE BOILERS STAND 16FT PROUD OF THE SEABED, WHICH IS GENERALLY FLAT WITH A FEW SMALL BOULDERS, THEY PRESENT A HAZARD TO A VESSEL SHELTERING IN THIS AREA AT LOW TIDE. THE GENERAL HEIGHT OF THE REMAINDER OF THE WK DOES NOT EXCEED 7FT. THE WK WAS SALVAGED BY A FIRM CALLED ROUSE OVER 20 YEARS AGO. NO EXTENSIVE DISPERSION DUE TO SEA ACTION. ENTIRE KEEL SECTION OF THE HULL REMAINS INTACT TOGETHER WITH A LARGE PART OF THE SHIPS SIDES WHICH HAVE BOTH FALLEN OUT BUT REMAIN JOINED AT THE KEEL. PROP SHAFT RUNS DOWN THE CENTRE OF WRECKAGE STILL MOUNTED ON ITS SUPPORTS, THE PROP QUITE CLOSE TO THE STERN END OF THE SHAFT IS MADE OF CAST IRON, THE BOILERS STAND CLOSE TOGETHER ON EACH SIDE OF THE REMAINDER OF THE ENGINE WHICH IS ABOUT MIDSHIPS.
