Cause: Built in 1887 by j fullerton & co of paisley. owned at time of loss by william robertson of glasgow. single boiler, triple expansion engine, single shaft. machinery by w king & co of glasgow. passage mostyn for the tyne. in ballast. struck a mine thought have been laid by the german light cruiser kolberg. broke in two and sank. ten men lost.
