Cause: broke from tow of m salavge tug 'smit singapore' and m tug/supply v 'solfonn' while on passage w coast of usa to verdal, trondheimsfjorden. after drifting for about 10 hours in rough weather went aground on rocks at lista, w of farsund. considered a total loss. (lloyds vol.291). vessel was built in 1985 by daewoo shipbuilding & heavy machinery ltd, koje. (msd).
