Cause: 11.6.08 ex-normanner [46], ex-jean charcot, built 1908 by e capon, fecamp, france. rigged lugger with 2 clinder auxiliary oil engine of 120hp, single shaft. machinery by j & c.g. bolinders co. ltd., stockholm. owned at time of loss by hjorten larusson. passage iceland to antwerp. ran aground on lashy skerries off calf of eday, orkney in heavy seas and broke up immediately. all 7 crew lost.
