Cause: built in 1930 by furness sb co ltd, haverton, hull-on-tees. owned at the time of loss by atlantic shipping & trading co ltd. three boilers, triple expansion engine of 527nhp, single shaft. passage london for barry roads. in ballast. torpedoed and sunk by u 1017 while part of coastal convoy tbc 60. six men lost.
