Cause: 25.9.40 built in 1924 by caledonian shipbuilding & engineering co ltd. owned at time of loss by ocean ss co. oil engine of 3700bhp for 13.5 knots. torpedoed by u-29 on 25.9.40 whist n convoy & sank two days later. (dods & axis submarine successes).
