Cause: built by clyde sb & eng co ltd, port glasgow. owned at time of loss by ellerman wilson line ltd. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 217nhp, single shaft. passage dunkirk for barry roads. sank within five minutes following an explosion. may have struck a mine laid by uc-69. crew recovered by patrol vessel. (sibi).
