Cause: built in 1941 by scott & sons, bowling. an 'f' type dry coaster. owned at time of loss by the ministry of war transport. oil engine, single shaft. machinery aft by british auxilaries ltd, glasgow. passage cardiff for belfast. detonated a british mine 2.5 miles sw by w of skokholm island. capsized and sank 189 degs, 2.8 miles from skokholm. no lives lost. (sibi).

BR STD. 6.12.11 LOCATED 3.6.10 IN 5137.424N, 0518.297W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 49.81 IN GEN DEPTH 53.4MTRS. NO SCOUR. LENGTH 64.2MTRS, WIDTH 13.3MTRS, HT 3.59MTRS. LIES 095/275 DEGS WITH BOWS E. MODERATE MAGNETIC ANOMALY. (FUGRO OSAE, HI 1328). APPARENTLY BROKEN UP AND COLLAPSED. AMEND WK 49MTRS IN REVISED POSN. BR STD.
