Cause: built in 1924 by scott's sb & engineering co, greenock. owned at time of loss by j denholm (line) ltd. glasgow. four boilers, triple expansion engine of 534 hp, single shaft. passage bona, n africa, for port talbot. cargo iron ore. stranded at port eynon. all crew recovered by the mumbles lb.

H810/40 1.9.60 NO FURTHER DISPERSAL WORK TO BE CARRIED ON WK. (TH, 8.7.60). POSN IN DOUBT - GIVEN AS 513012N, 041236W. MUST BE INCORRECT. H810/40 12.12.61 BUOY REPD MISSING.
