Cause: built in 1903 by w doxford & sons, with triple expansion engines of 300 nhp for 9 knots. owned at time of loss by sutherland ss co. passage almeria for the tyne. torpedoed and sunk 49m sw by s half s of the lizard. 31 lives lost. (dods).
