Cause: built in 1913 by harland & wolff ltd. owned at time of loss by the royal mail steam packet co. five boilers, two quadruple expansion engines of 680 hp, twin shaft. passage buenos aires for falmouth. torpedoed by uc 65. 15 lost.

FAIRLY LARGE VESSEL STANDING NEARLY 15MTRS PROUD OF SEABED. NO APPARENT SCOUR. SEABED PRESUMED TO BE HARD. TWO HIGH SPOTS 45MTRS & 39.4MTRS. GOOD SONAR RESPONSE ON BEARING 290DEGS.
