WK IS WELL BROKEN UP WITH SMALL SECTIONS OF ABOUT 6-8 INCHES SHOWING ABOVE THE SAND. AREA LITTERED WITH BITS & PIECES OF METAL INCLUDING A SMALL BROKEN ANCHOR. THE BOTTOM IS EXTREMELY ROCKY. VESSEL IS THOUGHT TO BE SMALL & MECHANICALLY PROPELLED. (A NEWTON, LTR). H1287/75 26.8.75 H1287/75 26.8.75 POSSIBLY THE WRECK OF THE DORIS IN 544536N, 050027W [OGB]. (P C MILLER, LTR DTD 18.8.75). H1288/75 18.3.76 H1288/75 18.3.76 WRECK LIES EITHER SIDE OF A LARGE ROCK JUST OFFSHORE IN NOT MORE THAN 7MTRS OF WATER. SCATTERED OVER AN AREA OF APPROX 20 SQUARE MTRS. NO HIGH POINTS OF ANY SIGNIFICANCE. IDENTIFIED FROM NEWSPAPER REPORT AND ALSO THE SHIP BUILDER'S PLATE WHICH GAVE THE NAME OF THE BUILDERS WHO INSTALLED THE TRAWL GEAR.
