Name: DONEGAL (POSSIBLY)

Length 100.9 meter, width: 12.8 meter, draught: 5.2, tonnage 1885 ton

Cause: built in 1904 by j caird & co. owned at the time of loss by midland railway co. triple expansion engine of 386nhp. was a passenger ss converted to hospital ship. torpedoed and sunk by german submarine 19m s of dean ltv when returning to uk from france with wounded servicemen. 40 lives lost. (dods).
