Cause: ex-michael l embiricos '52, ex-dimitris, ex-war malayian. built in 1918 by caird & co, greenock. owned at time of loss by bogiazides bros & nd rallias. three boilers, triple expansion engine of 2500hp, single shaft. passage boma, n africa, for middlesbrough. cargo iron ore. ran aground on seaward end of flashes reef, off redcar. (sibi).
