Cause: built of iron in 1884. onwed at time of loss by howard & clarke, leith. one boiler, triple expansion engine, single shaft. passage newhaven, leigth for fishing and return. stranded on inchkeith island in fog. (sibi). vessel struck herwit rock & broke in two. (shipwrecks of the forth & tay, b baird)
