Cause: built in 1922 by d & w henderson & co ltd, glasgow. owned at time of loss by donaldson line ltd. four boilers, quadruple expansion engine of 626hp, single shaft. on passage from swansea for st john, new brunswick. general cargo including 1300tons tinplate, bicycles, christmas puddings and other goods. mined. crew of 48 safe.
