Cause: 14.1.1909 built by j p rennoldson & sons, south shields. yard number 256. launched 14.1.1909. owned by the clwyd ss co ltd, liverpool, (r & d jones, managers). sold on 19.1.16 to the point of ayr collieries ltd, liverpool, (g w dishart & a stabback, managers). departed from dublin on 18.12.1917 for the point of ayr colliery, in ballast. collided with ss paragon 12m n of the skerries. sank from damage inflicted by the collision.
