Cause: built in 1873 by j key & son, kinghorn. one boiler, compound expansion engine, single shaft. scuttled as a blockship. the firing circuits failed and the tide took the ship to the e, where she sank. was considered by the admiralty as of no further use as a blockship. (k heath).
