Cause: built of iron in 1883 by j l thompson & son, sunderland. owned at time of loss by j g marychurch, cardiff. one boiler, compound expansion engine of 250nhp, single shaft. passage odessa for antwerp. cargo grain. sank following collision with ss isle of cyprus. thirteen men lost. (sibi).

LIES VERY FLAT AND BROKEN - HIGHEST POINT BOILERS AND ENGINE. CINC REQUESTED. (M WOODWARD, 3.12.93). NCA. 25.2.99 CINC DELETED. MORE THAN FIVE YEARS. 25.2.99 INS AS NDW. BR STD. HH090/962/01 4.12.02 EXAM'D 9.8.02 IN 5030.528N, 0128.065W [WGD] USING DGPS. LEAST E/S DEPTH 35.3 IN GEN DEPTH 38MTRS. NO SCOUR. LENGTH 90MTRS, WIDTH 17MTRS. DCS3 HT 3.3MTRS. LIES 140/320 DEGS.
